In order to pay off her parents' debt to Pluepet, she was sold to him as a slave. Recognizing her incredible ability, Pluepet immediately placed a device onto her forehead that removed her of all free will and began selling her to anyone who desired to improve their luck. While she is incapable of emoting in any way, she is highly aware of her circumstances to the point of being suicidal. As a result of the seal on her forehead, however, she is unable to carry out her wishes.
