He is the protagonist's toxic friend #2 and Nami's blood-related older brother. Hopelessly nerdy to the core, he is a multifaceted otaku who gets involved in everything, including eroge, cosplay, doujinshi, anime, tokusatsu and figurines. He has next to no interest in real girls, save for her younger sister Nami whom he has the hots for (outdated term.) * In reality she is his blood-related sister, so marriage is out of the question. Nevertheless, he seems fond of over-the-top eroge-like situations and is truly a guy with sexual harassment in his nature. His nerdiness knows no bounds, and while he acts all highbrow, he does have an extreme masochist side to him. He keeps getting ridiculed by his young sister Nami, but keeps wild hope that it will one day turn into an immoral relationship, the kind that breaks EOCS regulations. He has no intention of succeeding the family ryokan, instead he begs for allowance and focuses on hoarding goods. Yet strangely enough, he has a special personality that is hard to hate.

She is the protagonist's junior and a first-year student. She is Toshiaki's sister and also good friends with Jun and Shinobu. Her family home is a resort ryokan run by her parents, located in Matsukawaooshima along her residence. * Except for Yoshioka siblings, everyone lives in Futabajima. Though sick of the hectic everyday of helping out with her parents' fairly popular place, she has never been to the mainland outside of school trips. "One day, a prince will..." She only dreams that someone takes her away from this island. Her brother Toshiaki is a typical otaku whose worthlessness further fuels her high ideals.
