Nazuna is a high school student that transferred to Hakuou Academy due to her parents having commitments overseas. She is kind, determined and serious, but somewhat naive. Nazuna embraces her normal and uneventful lifestyle, and hopes it stays that way in her school life, also. She loves to study, and as a result, she has excellent grades and aspires to go to a good university. Nazuna loves to study, because she believes that knowledge won't betray her. She became this way when she was younger, due to her boyfriend at the time cheating on her. Other than studying, Nazuna loves to read, and is well-versed in many books across a variety of genres. Her ordinary life quickly becomes eventful- due to a series of events, she gets involved with the "Forbidden Date Club".

Wabisuke is the captain of the school's soccer club, and also (reluctantly) becomes a member of the Forbidden Date Club after a series of events. He is Nazuna's older brother, and totally adores her; being an obvious siscon. They share a different last name because of a family tradition- the daughters get the mother's last name and the sons get the father's last name. Aside from his exceptional soccer skills and good looks, Wabisuke is positive, kind and caring, making him popular amongst many girls. Wabisuke is very reliable when one's in a bind, and he often comes to Nazuna's rescue. He's always been overprotective when it comes to Nazuna, but it seems to worsen when they both get involved with the date club...

The charasmatic, 27th head of the Forbidden Date Club. He is the older brother of the highly influential and wealthy Kano brothers. As a result, he's very used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants and nobody seems to object to this. Aoi is crude and often rude, but his charm and good looks helps him avoid most troubles. Not at all studious, Aoi prefers to skip classes to "hang out" with girls on the school rooftop to "have fun". He thinks love is just a game, and treats the girls that come to the Forbidden Date Club like idiots and toys. When he gets bored with a girl, he just "throws her away like a used rag."

The second-in-charge of the Forbidden Date Club. Atsumori is Aoi's younger brother, and shares many of the privileges as his older brother as a member of the powerful Kano family. Just like Aoi, Atsumori is very used to getting whatever he pleases, whenever he pleases, though he reacts to not getting his way far more poorly than Aoi. Atsumori has a penchant for anything sweet, but especially loves chocolate (and is often seen munching on a bar of one). Even though he's frequently seen arguing with Aoi, because they tend to stick together, most find it hard to tell whether they get along or not. Atsumori is arrogant and sadistic in his dealings with women; constantly exerting his power and influence. He makes it very certain that he thinks he's top dog, and is domineering. It's his way, or the highway. Like Aoi, Atsumori doesn't think too highly of love, and treats the girls that go to the date club like things to play with and dominate. Because of his attitude, people find it hard to approach him.

At only 14-years-old, Seri is a genius in his first year of high school. He has a femininely cute appearance, but he's actually quite cold and has a sharp tongue. As a result, Seri is considered to be hard to get close to, let alone approach. A cool customer, nothing truly amuses him and nothing really fazes him. Due to his incredible intellect, he has an insufferable persona and tends to make fun of everyone around him. Seri's conduct and views are primarily shaped by his highly logical mind and merit-based formulae. His thought processes even extends to love, which he believes to be pointless and stupid. Seri often asserts that in the end, everything can be explained logically.

Daria also does some modelling on the side, and has appeared on the cover of fashion magazines, though her image gears towards masculine rather than feminine. Aside from acting and modelling, she enjoys horse-riding and fencing, adding to her "princely" image. Though refined, gentle and charming, Daria hates it when people act overly familiar with her.
