The main character, Shuuichi, is a new the new assistant director for the NEK TV. One day, he learns that his mother, Miho, was once a “songstress” who dominated in the past. It was Michiko, a former female TV announcer and a talented producer, who told him about her. One day, Michiko orders Miho to once again become a songstress. Miho is reluctant to do so, but when her own son is forced to bring up the possibility of getting fired, she decides to take the job.
