Formerly of the US Army Combat Technology Research Unit. At the top of his class in both practical combat skill and book learning. He is the main test pilot for the XFJ Joint US-Japan TSF Development Project, and serves as a member of the project’s Argus Test Flight. His father is Japanese and his mother is American. When he was young, political friction between Japan and America made him the subject of anti-Japanese discrimination. He grew up to hate America, and develop a cold attitude that keeps others at bay.

A TSF pilot in the Japanese Royal Guard, which serves to protect the Shogun’s family. She is a member of the Takamura Clan, one of the high-ranking Fudai families, and constantly strives to live up to the family name, and to the reputation of her father, a legendary soldier. Because of this, she has a strict and uncompromising personality and is very hard on herself. She is sent to Yukon Base as the Japanese lead developer of the XFJ Project. As a Japanese, she finds Yuuya’s criticism of Japan frustrating, and makes no attempt to hide her irritation. The two of them clash constantly.

A member of Argus Test Flight. Stubborn, with a quick temper and a strong dislike of losing. Tarisa is a Gurkha, a tribe of brave mountain fighters. She particularly excels in high-speed hand-to-hand combat, and has developed her own unit style of high-speed tactics she calls the “Kukri Knife”.

Valerio keeps spirits in Argus high with the chipper, upbeat personality typical of Italians. He has a habit of chasing after any girl he sees, but he’s also caring and works hard to reduce tensions within the unit. His nickname is VG. He learned to pilot at TSF on the European front, and became quite good at it. His ability to read a situation, and his skill as a TSF pilot, make him a valued member of the team.

A mechanic sent to Yukon Base alongside Yuuya. Despite his young age, he was chosen as the chief mechanic of the XFJ project. Highly trusted by his unit due to his wide range of knowledge and skill with a wrench. He’s a hedonist and skirt-chaser who gets along well with VG, but he takes his work extremely serious. He’s known Yuuya since their time in the US army together, and they’re both friends and partners.

Leader of the Third Unified Front’s Bao Feng test flight. Loves to win more than anything, and strongly sees Idol and Argus as rivals. Her TSF fighting style is aggressive, to match her personality, and she specializes in close-range sword combat. Her men call her Big Sis as a show of respect.

Commander of the Zhar Battalion, one of the Soviet’s top units. A pure-blooded Russian who leads a battalion of child soldiers from regions conquered by the Soviets, she is a veteran of many battles. A stern, military woman, but her unit looks up to her like a mother.

A surface pilot who was in Yuuya’s unit in their US army days. Yuuya’s kill score left his in the dust. Presently part of the 65th Combat Training Battalion “Infinities”. He’s proud to be a Japanese-American, which meant he's constantly at odds with Yuuya. The two of them used to fight constantly.
