The protagonist is a young officer who has achieved many military successes in a short period of time, and is highly regarded by both the upper and lower ranks of the military due to his friendly personality. He is rumored to be one of the people who will support the next generation. However, these evaluations were due to the "hypnosis device" that the protagonist possessed. During a certain operation, Marcus accidentally discovers a "hypnosis device" on an enemy battleship. Without reporting it, he takes it for himself and begins to use it for his own desires.
