Introduced early in the story as a mysterious woman when in reality she is an earth goddess who is worshipped throughout the Hinawari village. She is referred by the village as "Land Goddess" and her divine powers are immense. She was originally a messenger of Inari, and her original form was a pure white fox. She typically does not appear in public and although she is understanding to those who have strong faith, she can be sadistic and egotistical. While being a female deity, she can grow male genitalia at will.
