Makoto's underclassman who is 1/4 of Scandinavian descent. She knows Makoto from church, and for whatever reason she came to a Japanese art academy. She works as a waitress with Makoto at Kyouko's café: the Modulor. Inconsistent with age and height, although she appears to be mature and reliable, she is actually introverted and unsociable. Because she desperately wants to hide it, when in class she feels isolated. She works at the same place as Makoto, and because she can talk to him normally, she trusts him. Later, thanks to Makoto, she becomes friends with Tsukuyo, Asuza and Madoka. Arisa seems to be able to speak at least five languages: Finnish, Swedish and Japanese as her mother tongues as well as French and English. Arisa seems to have been in love with Makoto for a very long time, however only Kyouko seems to have noticed it, at first. Arisa does not really have a favorite artistic field as she mainly helps her Senpais to finish their work and she is very interested in everything she does. However, we learn later that Arisa seems to be more attracted to painting. Arisa is mentioned in Ai Kiss 2 as being one of the famous graduate.
