The head of Karsten house, which is known to have strong ties to the late royal family, and one of the candidates for the royal election to become the 42nd King of Lugnica. Crusch's ideal is free the country from the centuries long heavy dependency on the Dragon's guidance which she believe has led Luginca into stagnation and stripped the country's will to govern without it, betraying the hopes of the conservative ruling class who pin her as favorite to win the election. Crusch is honest, sincere, right, being a type of person who is destined to stand above others, though she has talent and has worked hard to reach where she is now. She prefers to act herself and has the pride of a warrior, but is also very dense and often believes the false knowledge jokingly told to her by Ferris, and sometimes displays an airheaded side.

Al is Priscilla's knight. Initially introduced as Priscilla's constantly abused "knight", it is soon revealed that there might be more to him, . Although very skilled at fighting due to the time spent in Vollachia, Aldebaran does not like to make enemies, as he considers that taking care of them when a problem occurs requires a lot of work, but Priscilla doesn't seem to care about this. Al has a frivolous and goofy personality, and . Despite being Priscilla's knight, he doesn't really recognize himself as one, seeing himself as her caretaker, while Priscilla herself sees him as a handyman and a jester to entertain her. He has no qualms about their relationship. He also brags that the only way he can fight is by outwitting people and catching them by surprise. Despite his easygoing attitude, Al is deeply affected by having a form of amnesia. Until he met Subaru he sometimes had episodes where he would think of himself as losing the plot . Ferris is Crusch's knight and a healer, as well as a demi human. Ferris usually refers to himself in third person, calling himself Ferri-chan, though he will refer to himself as Ferris, Felix, or with female pronouns depending on the situation. He is absolutely loyal to Crusch and will do anything she says, however he will oppose her if needed. He also enjoys teasing other people, especially those that are surprised that he's male, using cutesy language and gestures to agitate them. Although he hides it through his actions and words, Ferris has a severe view on death and values due to his job as a healer, leading him to hold those who no longer have any will to live in contempt from the bottom of his heart. He also hates weaklings because of his complex, causing him to hate Subaru for a while, however he lets go of his feelings against him after seeing his actions during the battle against the White Whale. He is also constantly thankful for Crusch and everything that she's done for him in her life.

Unlike his cheerful sister, Hetaro has a more cautious personality, which comes from his experiences of taking care of his sister. As he is a siscon, he generally tends to let his sister do whatever she wants, leading her to grow into her current personality, though because of this he is attentive and is sensitive to changes in mood. Despite this, he is also on good terms with his younger brother Tivey, who listens to what he has to say. Due to Ricardo's habit of heading straight into the battle, he is virtually the commander of the Fang of Iron while in battle.

Julius is Anastasia's knight and a member of the Royal Guard. He is one of Reinhard's best friends. He and Subaru initially started out on the wrong foot, due to their seemingly incompatible personalities. However, it didn't turn truly antagonistic until Subaru offended the whole Royal Knight garrison, prompting him to publicly humiliate him in a mock duel. Later on following the battle with the White Whale, their relationship got better after they both apologized. As a member of Lugnica's nobility, Julius acts in a proper fashion, always having an air of nobility and conviction. He is also considerate and doesn't forget to show care toward others. He also shows a strict side, giving out accurate assessments of others whether they're good or bad, which is a result of his upbringing as an elite, and in actuality, he believes that he and others can do better than they currently are.

Petelgeuse is a Sin Archbishop of the Witch Cult, representing Sloth. He was once a respectable man, but was driven insane long ago. Petelgeuse is the general depiction of insanity, preferring to talk while in weird positions, such as tilting his head or bending his waist, and also liked to engage in self harming activities, such as crushing his own fingers, pulling his hair out, smashing his head onto nearby walls of the cave he was situated in, etc. Despite him being the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, he adheres to principles of living consisting of diligence and love. His love for Satella is the largest among the Sin Archbishops. He diligently follows and carries out orders from his gospel, always acting first in various situations, causing his name to be known as the most active Sin Archbishop, who has been responsible for more than half of all the the Witch Cult's activities and attacks. Petelgeuse wields the Authority of Sloth, which manifests a supernatural ability known as Unseen Hands, invisible ogre strength shadow tentacles that are also capable of phasing through objects. He's usually accompanied by a particularly special group of 10 hand picked cultists called "Fingers" who act as sub-commanders and spare bodies for Petelgeuse, each leading one unit of several cultists.

As the captain of the Fang of Iron, he usually calms his teammates down right before battling, such as making jokes to make others laugh. Like Anastasia, Ricardo speaks with a Kansai dialect. Not only that Ricardo is the strongest member of the Fang of Iron, but he's also the greatest tactician. He carefully thinks before he plans out for an attack. However, he tends to be rash as he has a habit of heading straight into battle; he'd usually listens to Hetaro's orders during battle.

Wilhelm is a member of the Crusch Camp and Reinhard's grandfather. Aside from being Crusch's servant, he also acts as her sword instructor. In his youth, he fought in the Demi-Human War, where he earned the title of Sword Devil. After his wife Theresia was killed by the White Whale, he vowed to avenge her. Wilhelm is a refined man with a highly gentle and humble demeanor. However, underneath that even temperament is a fierce warrior who often is the first to help when something happens. This wasn't always the case, as in his youth, Wilhelm was the very opposite of who he was in his later years.: brash, afoot, short tempered, lonely, and often cold with others. He was a troubled individual who devoted himself wholly to the sword and cared for little else. Even so, he knew how to analyze a situation, always finding a way out. Nonetheless, Theresia greatly influenced his personality, which caused him to become increasingly sociable and protective, achieving more results during the Demi-human War. It was through her most of all that he would become the person he is today.
