When she and Ningyohime were younger, Tsuu promised to become the "little mermaid's true prince", and thus, has always acted like a prince. Tsuu is very courageous, though underneath her shell she also has a slightly weak and girlish personality that contrasts her boyish appearance. She is also the only one who can understand and interact with Jack.
