A former Suima noble turned into a human by angelic technology. He retains some of his former powers, but his new human frame is largely incompatible with his previous form which is a frequent source of frustration for him. When he does activate his powers, his right eye turns red. He reacts to news of the Demon King's unexpected death as an opportunity to start his quest for revenge against the Angels who transformed him and to stake his claim as the new Demon King. Many of his foes underestimate him because of his outward human appearance, however the magical energy he emanates is no different from other demons. He is unable to hold on to the element of surprise for long, but he's well aware that his frailties as a human force him to rely heavily on Helmina to seduce more opponents to his will. He is well-versed in the sex magic which all Suima are inherently gifted in, so any female units taken prisoner can be bent to his will when he rapes them. The only exceptions are other Suima are Helmina and Elvire. Although he ultimately finds and defeats the one responsible for his transformation, he cannot reverse the process as he lacks the necessary catalyst and information on the internal workings of the device that changed him. Nevertheless his ambition does not end as he turns his attention towards the other competitors for the Demon throne.

A Hitenma who deserted the Demon King's command and is now holed up in a remote corner of the Imniss mountain range. Younger than the rest of her peers, she has not adopted her kind's single-minded approach to battle. When the conflict between the Angels and Demons reached an impasse, she struggled to find meaning in an endless series of skirmishes and took off with several of her followers. She spends her days contemplating the meaning of her existence, watching over the conflict from a distance and defending her territory from intruders. Klaus seeks her out as he requires information on the whereabouts of the Angels' stronghold, which Beatrice can provide as she was at the forefront of battle before she deserted. Although she acknowledges the futility of the endless struggle between the two sides, she still holds pride as a Hitenma, one of the strongest of the warrior Demon tribes and does not hesitate to cut down any who intrude into her territory. If she is captured by Klaus and submits to his authority, she continues to agonise over her purpose in a war she does not believe in. Klaus in turn enjoys watching her internal angst with the occasional word of advice to keep her focused on the immediate goal, even as he acknowledges her immense value as one of his prime military assets.

A Suima Princess who avoids armed conflict. She much prefers to use her childlike appearance to seduce males for their sperm. Although proud of her bloodline and her wings, she is easily displeased when Klaus and Helmina (who are technically her subjects) don't treat her with the respect she believes she is owed. Klaus initially seeks his fellow Suima, both to increase the number of pawns he can control and to lessen the burden on Helmina for new recruits. Helmina's extraordinary ability to detect her own kind leads to an encounter with Cerouge. Despite her distaste for war and fighting, Cerouge is surprisingly capable as a strategic commander. Klaus is appreciative of her choice of hideout and the efforts she and her subordinates took to deter rogue Angel patrols from disturbing their peace. If captured in battle, she initially attempts to turn the tables on Klaus using sex magic. However, she never discovers Klaus's true identity until it is too late. Klaus acknowledges her bloodline, but she can never overturn his authority because of his experience and abilities.

A Suima noble who knows Klaus and Helmina. She derives personal satisfaction from the thrill of battle and spends all of her time training for battle if she's not involved in one. Her lust for battle is so strong she will happily fight her own kind if there is no suitable opposition around and she's in the mood for combat. She knew Klaus and Helmina well before the story starts and is well aware of Klaus's current state. Both of them in turn are fully aware she's obsessed with fighting and prefer to be as far away as possible from her since Elvire is almost impossible to stop when the mood takes her. Interestingly enough, neither Klaus nor Helmina knew they had a mutual acquaintance in Elvire until they encountered her. Her insatiable lust for battle put her at odds with Klaus, yet she rates his ability to think his way through any battle despite his current frailty highly. If captured in battle, she will help Klaus in his quest as one of his soldiers. As a Suima noble herself, the only thing that keeps her under Klaus's command is losing to him in battle and the interesting battles she will enjoy while serving under him.

A female Suima who calls Klaus "Darling" and stays by his side because she's taken a fancy to him and wants to see what he looked like before he was transformed (she's quite happy with Klaus's human appearance). Early on, Klaus has to rely on her to increase the size of his army as he is unable to fully utilise his Suima powers. Helmina in turn is happy to help Klaus in his quest; she's typical of most Suima and is happy to seduce anyone and anything in return for draining their energy during sex. In addition to her fighting abilities, she has command over a flying familiar which she sometimes deploys to gather information. Elvire hints at Helmina's background when they meet each other but it is not explained in great detail. Helmina is not originally from the mountain range where Klaus and Elvire are active, so she has no prejudice against Klaus for his predicament. Bright and vivacious, she always has a reply up her sleeve no matter who she talks to.

An eighth-rank Angel who serves at the vanguard of the Angelic forces. Like all Angels, she despises Demons who bring chaos to the world and will annihilate any demons she faces without hesitation. She is initially fooled by Klaus's appearance and assumes Klaus is a thrall under Helmina's control. Despite Helmina's repeated attempts to dissuade her, she does not listen. Klaus uses this to his advantage in their first battle. If she is captured in battle, Klaus uses sex magic to bind her under his control. Her devotion to duty is twisted from its original purpose and redirected towards serving Klaus. If she is present in the final battle, she will ask if the God the angels served really intended for the mass production to take place.

Helmina calls her 能面天使 for her poker face as well as a nod to her angelic title. Despite her adaptability to the flow of battle, she can get flustered if events progress beyond her calculations. She is ordered to capture Klaus and retake the altar of reincarnation shortly after Klaus and Helmina defeat Reginia. With great difficulty, Klaus and Reginia succeed in breaking out of the encirclement. When she returns to her base to think through her next move, Elvire attacks with her forces. When Klaus and Helmina attack shortly after Elvire's assault, Luciel is unable to overcome the disparate demonic factions attacking at once. If captured in battle, Klaus uses the threat of sex magic to coerce her into having sex with him. She is fully aware of what that magic is and never expected Klaus to be an expert at it based on his outward appearance. In the end, Klaus does not need to use the magic to bind her to his will, as he correctly guesses her fixation on battlefield preparation and emphasis on tactics are really her way of coping with a streak of cowardice. If present in the final battle, Luciel reveals the importance she places on her sense of self-identity and why she remains compelled to serve Klaus even though she is not magically bound to his will.

A Waima initially encountered by Klaus and Helmina when she's on the run from a group of Angels pursuing her for the theft of a valuable coin in the Angels' possession. When Maize asks for help but is refused, she draws the attention of her angelic pursuers to Klaus and his group, which forces them into combat. Maize loves gold, in particular the hard currency used by the humans. She stashes her collection amidst ruins and spends her days either admiring her stash or going out to look for more additions to her collection. She values gold and currency above everything else, even her own life and freedom. Given a choice between giving gold as a reward to Klaus and his group for saving her bacon and simply running away with just a word of thanks, she chooses the latter. This enrages Klaus and they track her to her hideout where she is forced to defend herself from intruders to her "home". If captured in battle, Klaus confiscates her entire stash and uses it to bribe Maize into fighting for him (in addition to the use of sex magic). Because of her typical Waima personality, Klaus avoids talking to her for any longer than he has to because it is a mentally draining experience.

She has combat abilities commensurate with her angelic rank and is a capable strategist with a cold and calm demeanour. Simply approaching Klaus and his party gives off an aura of power which brings a cold sweat from both demons. Mavislaine knows all of the other ranked Angels by name, so if they are present when Klaus and his faction do battle with her she will admonish them for joining his ranks. As the field commander, she is closest to the supreme commander of the Angelic Forces and one of her duties is to ensure no demon gets close to her superior. Klaus and Helmina comment on the mountain being known only to a select few demons (Beatrice being one of them), which implies Mavislaine and her subordinates have until now done an excellent job at ensuring virtually all intruders into the mountain do not leave alive. If captured in battle, she does fully submit to Klaus's will. He in turn does not use sex magic on her even though he is perfectly capable of doing so. Klaus derives considerable satisfaction from watching Mavislaine squirm as she chafes under his command; he believes breaking a woman with strong will like her under his will without magical means is more challenging with a greater payoff should he succeed.

A seventh-rank angel in charge of the altar of reincarnation. She's not designated a combat role and her research minimises the frequency of interpersonal contact. Eventually her desire for research leads her to pursue that course above everything else, she will even perform actions which are completely anathema to other angels. Klaus uses vague memories of his experimentation as a guide to lead him to the site of the altar of reincarnation. After fighting in, Reginia tells them they are wasting her valuable research time as the altar cannot be used by non-angelic beings. Klaus in turn invites Reginia to join their cause, as he has observed Reginia's long hours of solitary research have warped her mindset and she is well on the way to becoming a fallen angel. Despite the temptation, Reginia is still able to refuse and they fight for control over the site. If captured in battle, Klaus removes the shackles off Reginia's desire for research. Virtually everything for her while serving under Klaus's army is a new experience, which she savours and is happy to serve him in return. Her mindset approaches that of a typical "mad scientist" while under Klaus's control, so much so he has to rein her in before her tendencies lead to mortal casualties amongst his forces. If present in the battle, she asks the supreme commander for permission to study the Altar but is refused.
