When his adventurer party breaks up and he is broke, Fuu appears before him with an job offer: Use his expertise to design a dungeon that will attract adventurers from all over. Doing so will help gather funds necessary to excavate the 5 seals that are restricting the Demon Queen Karin. While a bit hesitant, Kazuto accepts, eager at the possibility of designing his own dungeon, though with the understanding that the dungeon will not seek to kill any adventurers, only take their money.

Race: Demon Role: Merchant An employee of Gyunguska Inc, a major company in the Demon World. The company holds an Insurance contract with the Demon Queen Karin from 1,000 years ago. In the event that Karin should be sealed away, the company would send someone to release her. Fuu came to the human world to do so. However, digging through the mountain to find the Seals would cost a lot of gold, so she came up with a plan to fund the excavation: Create a dungeon. In truth, the company that Karin originally signed the contract with was called Malmorget. Unfortunately, around the time Karin was sealed, Malmorget was absorbed in a merger with Gyunguska Inc. During the merger, the contract with Karin was overlooked, resulting in the 1,000 year delay. As a former employee of Malmorget, Fuu was the one who originally signed the contract with Karin. She felt an obligation to fix the mistake of her former company and personally took responsibility for resurrecting Karin. She is unable to directly participate in combat, so she instead controls a combat golem called Houkei.

Race: Demon Role: Demon Queen The Demon Queen who ruled the country and was sealed away 1,000 years ago by a "hero". Despite this, she seems to hold no ill will towards humanity. In fact, she seems to like them quite a bit, and is eager to hear their stories. During the time she ruled the area, she introduced many cultural and technological innovations from the Demon World, like the concept of insurance, and the game of Chess. She is fond of books and games, and is constantly asking Kazuto to buy her more. Her power is sealed by six Seal Stones that are buried throughout the mountain. At first, she appears as a phantom, barely able to interact with the world. As more of the stones are recovered, she regains her physical form, and eventually her full power. She doesn't want any lives to be lost for the sake of her revival, even if they see her as an enemy.

Her great grandchild Karon received the call instead and decided to answer the summons herself as training. She ended up attacking the Dungeon, assuming that being summoned to a Dungeon meant to attack it. Once captured, she revealed her history and became Karin's servant, joining the Dungeon's forces. A cheerful and upbeat girl who spends most of her free time training. While people often assume that she is unintelligent, she has been raised to be a leader and is educated. Her subordinates all care for her dearly. Knowing that she has feelings for Kazuto, her subordinates often arrange for the two of them to end up together, and enjoy peeping on their progress.

When all the cats in town seem to vanish because they all were drawn to the Dungeon, she assumes that someone maliciously kidnapped them and attacks the Dungeon to rescue them. Once the misunderstanding is cleared, she becomes friends with the residents of the Dungeon and sometimes brings other adventurers to try it out. She believes that anyone who is liked by cats is automatically a good person: that is why she came to trust the Dungeon residents. Minmei is a fairly successful adventurer, and does make good money. However, she eats drastically more than a normal person, thus consuming most of her earnings. What she has left goes towards buying food for stray cats in town. Minmei's dream is to create a Feline Paradise to protect and raise cats. She wants to save up to make that dream a reality.
