A second-year student who is the president of the string orchestra club at the academy, and also Mimako's childhood friend. She is aiming to become a professional violinist by participating in the national tournament at the upcoming contest. Nanami always looks calm, refined and mature, but in reality she is slightly bad at dealing with strangers, and tends to have a shy personality as well. Her violin performances are always praised for their exquisite and powerful nature, and Nanami always shows more emotion during these performances. According to Aina, "Nanami uses her violin more for speaking than her mouth". She is admired by a lot of people and many of them see her as a genius because Nanami handles all the difficult songs with ease, but in reality she works her hardest to attain the results she desires. Because her parents are working abroad, she lives together with her cousin. Her parents haven't approved her dream of becoming a professional violinist yet, but they will if she manages to participate in the national tournament.

A second-year student who is the vice-president of the string orchestra club at the academy, and an exchange student from Finland. A very energetic, carefree and friendly girl who can easily become friends with anyone and has lots of friends. She quickly blends into the Japanese way of living and culture after transferring. Aina tends to be stubborn about the things she believes in and when she thinks she's right, but will also apologize if she's wrong instead. Aina is fully Finnish, but she has been watching anime ever since she was young, so she picked up most of her Japanese from the shows she watched. She first met Nanami when she transferred in, and fell in love with her performances immediately. After that, Aina became extremely interested in Nanami and soon ended up becoming best friends with her. She currently lives alone and her room is filled with all kinds of anime merchandise, showcasing her love for it. Aina has also promised her parents that if she doesn't make it into the national tournament, she will return to Finland.

A first-year student who is a member of the string orchestra club at the academy and in charge of the 2nd violin. She is Nanami's childhood friend whom she loves more than anything. Mimako is very pure and naive, gets easily teased and often falls for the most simple jokes and pranks. The other club members compare and treat her like a lovable puppy. She also tends to easily lose her concentration. Mimako first met with Nanami during a music class; they got along quickly and grew up like sisters. Mimako's performances are the complete opposite of her personality - they are very composed and she perfectly plays in harmony with her surroundings. She completely admires Nanami's way of playing the violin and wants not only to be complimented by her, but also keep playing together with her and get on her level. Mimako is a good cook so she tends help her family out with the housework. She also often makes bentos for dear Nanami.

A graduate of the academy and a music teacher who's also the adviser for the string orchestra club. Nao is still the same girl she used to be when she was a student: kind, but serious and firm. She is a new teacher at the academy, but doesn't show her hardships to her students and instead always faces them with a smile. Nao was once invited to become a professional violin player, but she chose to become a teacher at her former high school instead. The experiences she went through as a student left a mark on her, and not only did she become afraid of sexual things, she also doesn't want to date or be in a relationship with a man. Nao still keeps in contact with her friends, and they meet up once or twice a year, go out to eat and then play their instruments.
