Yui has been shown as a feminine girl. She is quite gentle and very skilled at cooking. Her personality varies on the choices the player makes throughout the game. In the anime, she has a cheerful and optimistic personality. Yui is oblivious to many things and doesn't catch onto things easily. She also has trouble in making decisions in certain cases. Yui seems to be very determined in the worst scenarios and doesn't mind any mean comments thrown her way by any of the vampires. Despite such situations, she usually responds to all the brothers with kindness. As she goes through the game, she slowly starts to become a masochist. Yui is also shown to be strong-willed. Yui is also a strong believer of God. At first, she does not believe in the existence of vampires but eventually comes to accept them.

He is the typical egocentric prince who assumes that others will do what he asks. He is a person who does not hesitate to kill anyone who gets in the way. It is also shown that he hates being pitied or being called pitiful. Kino knows that to become Adam he must fall in love with Yui, so he does not mind conquering her in his "way." Hobbies: Collecting knives Favorite food: Shichimi Togarashi The fourth and youngest son of the Mukami household. Azusa is a clingy, faint-hearted do-S (extreme sadist) and do-M (extreme masochist). Because he likes being injured, he may even harm himself. Though his manner of speech and attitude are timid, he'll always do what he wants to his heart's content. He talks very slowly. Azusa has a twisted yet visible sense of right and wrong. He tells his brothers not to fight. He apologizes to the heroine when he startles her, deceives her, or feels he must do something against her wishes. Azusa also admits he knows lying is wrong, but he will lie to make someone happy, to earn a punishment, or to fulfill his older brothers’ orders. He never uses demeaning nicknames and calls the heroine by her name with the "-san" honorific or simply "Eve." When he hurts the heroine by cutting her, sucking her blood, or forcing spicy food on her, it is usually because he's trying to help her or to share with her (because he sees her as a masochist). He believes physical pain is the greatest pleasure; it makes him feel alive and gives his life purpose. Because of his childhood trauma, Azusa feels unwanted and useless except when he's in pain, and he says that being unwanted by anyone is worse than death. Physical pain also helps him forget emotional pain, and Azusa tries to hurt the heroine to give her the same comfort and pleasure. He also finds it important for wounds to leave permanent scars, because the scars are proof that he was "needed" once. Kou is the second son of the Mukami household. He is an idol in the human world as a side job. As a human child, he was abandoned in a manhole and never knew anything about his parents or where he had come from. Because he lived in the sewers, Kou would always dream of obtaining the blue sky he saw above. One day, soldiers looking for rebels randomly shot a pair of mother and child in front of Kou as an example to potential rebels. Kou didn’t understand what was going on or knew what the soldiers that found him intended to do to him. When they saw his face, they sent him to the orphanage. Upon arriving there, he received good food, clean clothes, and all the nice things he wasn’t able to have in the sewers. Kou thought of the orphanage as heaven. Then Kou was taken to a "club." Because of a war that was going on, the country needed money. To earn quick money to fund the war, the club chose beautiful children like Kou from the orphanage and offered them up as merchandise as "entertainment" for aristocrats. Kou was up whipped, cut, beaten, tortured. He was so in-demand that his bruises and wounds didn't have time to heal. Kou didn't want to think that his beating was painful and wanted to believe that he should be happy because he could have nice things. Eventually, he accepted that the situation he was in was basically hell. In an attempt to stop the orphanage from making him continue as an aristocrat's toy, he lamented that his right eye might never see the blue sky he craved again. He decided to disfigure himself by gouging out his right eye. Unfortunately, that only made the aristocrats desire him more. Kou realized that he made a mistake, and he feared that his situation would only get worse. Kou tried to commit suicide but found himself unable to kill himself. Soon after, he met Ruki, who called Kou a loser. Kou denied that and tried to kill himself (Ruki even dared him to), but again, Kou was unable to do so, as Ruki expected. Ruki told Kou that the reason Kou couldn’t commit suicide despite desperately wanting to escape his situation was because Kou still had hope. Ruki knew this because he often caught Kou staring at the sky. Ruki told Kou that if he gave up that hope, he would be nothing more than a loser. Ruki invited Kou to come with him if he wanted to be free from his hell.

Yuma is the third son of the Mukami household. The voice, body, and attitude of this rebellious sadist are all big. He often goes on rampages, but he falls asleep after he becomes bored. He can always be found munching noisily on sugar cubes. He is very sadistic and rough and also quite perverted and hot-tempered. He doesn't mind consuming the complete body of his victim alongside draining the blood, and this was suggested as the main reason for his physical strength growing even above the average impure vampire. As a child, he was very lively and cheery. Sometimes too rebellious to his parents who were religious people while he didn't believe in God. After the incident and his amnesia, he had to become even tougher if wanted to survive out on the streets with the other members of his rebellion gang. He grew violent, rough, and dominating with time. After his parents died in a fire, Yuma became a follower of a street gang and looked up to the leader, or boss, Lucks. Under a new name, Bear, Yuma lived on the streets with Lucks and the others. Lucks would scavenge around and steal food to give to all his followers. He also worked as a slave, or what he claims as "livestock", in order to get money to pay for food as well. His main dream, which Bear would inherit, was to have a world where everyone is free and equal, no social classes or gaps. He wanted to strip the corrupt politicians and aristocrats of their status in order to purify this world of its filth.

Ayato Sakamaki (逆巻 アヤト Sakamaki Ayato) is the fifth son of the Sakamaki household. Ayato along with Laito and Kanato, the triplets, are the sons of Cordelia, daughter of the Demon Lord and the first wife of Karlheinz, the Vampire King. Ayato has a messy reddish-brown hair with hints of purple color on his nape, with lighter shades of ash brown or light blond to the tips. His eyes are green like Laito's but have narrow pupils like Cordelia's. He also wears a black stud on his right ear. In Haunted Dark Bridal, he usually wears a white shirt that has brown bordering the top and bottom of the shirt with a black jacket and brown scarf. Known as the troublemaker of the household, Ayato is an attention seeker and loves mischief. He looks down on others and loves to bully and tease people. He refers to himself most of the time as ore-sama (yours truly) and he calls Yui, chichinashi (breastless). Ayato is quite the rebel and has a passion for torture device; like the iron maiden and such device can be found in his room. He is also the type who always brags about himself; sometimes commanding everyone to call him Ayato-sama. It is also noted that he eats a lot, although Ayato stated that vampires need to drink blood to savor the taste. His favourite food is takoyaki and gets very angry if someone eats his food. He is a narcissistic prankster who has an obsession of being the best due to his childhood problems with his mother. Ayato is the youngest of the triplets along with Laito and Kanato. His mother, Cordelia, abused him a lot as a child. Ayato's actions is the mere reflection of Cordelia's harmful punishment and how he has been affected by it, that is why his cocky attitude can be compared to that of Cordelia's. Ayato uses vulgar language at times. Ayato would insult his mother (even after her death) and his brothers by telling them off and calling them names (almost always giving other nicknames) like calling Kanato as hysteric and Reiji as tableware otaku. He also tends to be arrogant as he always calls himself the strongest and the best. And whenever things go his way, he acts unsurprised. Ayato is very playful and loves sports; basketball being his favorite. Ayato has stated that anything is fine as long as there's a goal to reach for and that sports is his strong point.

Kanato Sakamaki (逆巻 カナト Sakamaki Kanato) is the fourth son of the Sakamaki household. Kanato along with Laito and Ayato, the triplets, are the sons of Cordelia, daughter of the Demon Lord and the first wife of Karlheinz, the Vampire King. Laito is the third son of the Sakamaki household and a second-year high school student. Laito, along with Kanato and Ayato, the triplets, are the sons of Cordelia, daughter of the Demon Lord and the first wife of Karlheinz, the Vampire King. Laito is extremely perverted, to the point where his personality has gotten him suspended from his school many times. Laito is both a Do-Masochist (extreme masochist) and a Do-Sadist (extreme sadist). He is always cheerful and loves to joke and is similar to Ayato when teasing Yui, whom he calls "Bitch-chan". However, his personality suddenly changes when something goes against his wishes, usually when Yui is too defiant around him. He doesn't like when Yui disobeys his orders and he often punishes her because of that. Laito has also been shown to be good at interpreting others' motives.

Though he might have a polite, sophisticated way of speaking (which the creators describe to be "butler-like"), his words tend to come with a biting edge. He values rules and demands that they are followed by others, but he creates many strange rules. Despite how rigid he may seem, he still has some sense of humor (albeit a dry one). Although Reiji is the second son, he takes it upon himself to keep the house tidy, to manage household affairs, and to keep his brothers in line. His role in the family combined with his seemingly polite, gentlemanly posture often causes him to appear more like the eldest instead of his older brother Shu. Shown by how he values rules, Reiji is a strict person towards both himself and those around him. He is an arrogant, prideful person who demands perfection and dislikes submitting to weakness. Though his words may be harsh, they shouldn't always be taken at face value. He is an extreme sadist like the rest of his brothers, and his particular phrase is schadenfreude (pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune). Sometimes he does or says something in order to get a reaction that amuses him. Along with his passion for experimenting and making potions/drugs, he loves to collect tea sets and kitchenware. Shuu is the first and eldest son of the Sakamaki household. He is also the current master of the mansion. Shuu and his younger brother, Reiji, are the sons of Beatrix, second wife of Karlheinz, the Vampire King. Shuu is usually seen sleeping in the living room or the school's music room. He skips classes often and has been held back several times as a senior in high school. According to other students of the school, Shuu is the owner of the music room. Apathetic and lazy, Shuu loves nothing but music. It is noted that he is always listening to music, even when taking a bath. Shuu loves classical music, ranging from piano to violin. He has a lack of motivation and is lazy enough to do almost nothing, seen when Yui needs to persuade him to stay awake and do something for himself. He's somewhat bored with life due to all that happened in his past. Despite Shuu being the eldest son, he doesn't take any responsibility to look after his five brothers and the house and mostly complains about how he has to "deal with their problems." Subaru Sakamaki (逆巻 スバル Sakamaki Subaru) is the sixth and youngest son of the Sakamaki household. Subaru is the only son of Christa, third wife of Karlheinz, the Vampire King. Subaru can be described as the loner type. He is usually alone and never cares about what's happening around him. Subaru is the silent type who usually sleeps in a coffin, which is also inside his room. However, he easily gets angry and resorts to violence, going as far as to break everything when he gets extremely angered. He manages to compress this side when around Yui, but is still prone to outbursts. There is a tsundere side of him that only Yui can see. He's a delinquent type, kind of violent and loves to damage things. He's also a sadist, but despite all, can occasionally be sweet. Subaru can sometimes be considerate as he tried to help Yui escape from the mansion and let her have his silver knife that could kill vampires likes him.
