Souichi transfers to Reihou Gakuen and moves into the male dorm to protect Hikami Kuon in secret as Kuon rejects having a bodyguard around her. Her mother is worried, so they assign Souichi to guard her in secret. Only a few people know that Souichi is a bodyguard. He is childhood friends with Mibu Natsuki but does not realize it until she formally introduces herself too him.

Kuon is the girl Souichi is tasked to protect. They first met each other at the park but, did not know of one another. As soon as Kuon finds out that Souichi is the new transfer student, she becomes close to Souichi which causes an uproar in the school. She is also Natsuki´s childhood friend.

A third year student at the school. She loves to give people nicknames. Souichi is the only person to reject the nickname she gave him to her surprise.

Souichi's step sister and she is also childhood friends with Natsuki. Rikka has a brother complex as she worries about him often. She is a very talented cook as a child she would help her mother cook.
