Ritsuka is a second year student at Shikō Academy. She is a strong, optimistic, and straightforward girl and is also very deluded. She cares very much for everyone she knows and doesn't like to see them get hurt. She also is shown to hate being left in the dark about everything, and believes that everyone is their own person, not an object to be toyed with. She is also shown to be very forgiving to those who harm or lie her though she may have a hard time trusting them again.

Shiki is the Treasurer of Shikō Academy. He comes off as a strange, aloof person to most of the student body, and many claim that he's rarely seen at school. For the most part, Shiki acts and speaks mischievously, often with a smile and snide remark towards those around him. He's also extremely destructive. Despite his childish manner, Shiki's rather clever. He's insensitive of the feelings of others, and also appears to enjoy getting a rise out of people. When lashed out at, Shiki expresses great excitement, to the point where it nearly distracts him during more important moments. Consequently, his interaction with Urie and Mage are extremely antagonistic, as the two greatly dislike him as a fallen angel and frequently - and violently - lash out at him. He also has a hostile relationship with Roen, whom Shiki regularly torments. Although often troubling others, Shiki has a short, violent temper, leading him to leave others abruptly without any explanation. However, he is not above being serious when he must.

Roen is the loyal servant and watchdog of Lord Maksis, and previously the pet of Rem Kaginuki. He is strongly devoted to Maksis. As a dog, Roen is rather laid-back, often resting on the student council's couch. While rarely interacting with the student council, he and Shiki have extremely hostile interactions, to the point where Roen's repeatedly shown disdain towards Shiki by biting and growling at him without second thoughts. While in this form, he enjoys having Ritsuka pet him. Despite his amicable appearance, Roen is very manipulative and deceptive, taking on the appearance of a desperate, dismissed dog after Maksis' fall by the hands of the Arlond family head, and went into the family as an apparent servant, even accompanying Rem for the grand majority of his day at school.

Urie is the Vice-President of Shikō Academy. He is an elite dream devil who is known by people all throughout the devil world. He is also quite flirtatious and is very popular with the ladies. He is also extremely perceptive.

Lindo is Ritsuka's brother and an exorcist. He is an independent person. He's caring towards the ones he loves and is very determined to protect Ritsuka from the devils. He is also stoic. He is also smart, resourceful, and determined. He is also shown to get furious and jealous whenever one of the devils does anything to Ritsuka. Lindo is not near as forgiving as Ritsuka, and will not trust someone once they betray him. He is also shown to be biased when is comes to dealing with the devils, refusing to believe that they are anything but liars, who only seek Ritsuka for the grimoire within her. He despises Rem most of all, and doesn't give him or the rest of the Student Council a chance to be anything other than what they are or appear to be.

Ritsuka's best friend at school. She is a caring, straightforward individual who cares deeply for Ritsuka and rarely holds her peace when it comes to her own opinions, being fairly self-assured of herself.

Maria is the mother of Ritsuka and Lindo. After her husband mysteriously disappeared, Maria was left to raise her children, Ritsuka and Lindo, by herself. She is a kind and caring mother who worries a lot about her daughter.
