Main character of the story, he plays violin. He graduates first year at Gakouen Youth Club. He moved to Sunomura when he was young with his father, a violin craftsman, Katsura (his mother died in an accident). He has been playing the violin since he was a child, and his dream was to become a professional soloist. Takumi has been teaching other members in the music club for a long time, but when he heard the transfer student Ai's violin, he was shocked by the difference in level, and after Ai joined the music club, he stopped picking up the violin.

Ritsuko is one of the childhood friends of Takumi and has the role of a ''Supervisor'' in the Student Council and is a member of music club. She's the oldest of the group and, in order to protect and take care of her friends, Ritsuko decided to become stronger and reliable. She's very stubborn and doesn't change her mind so easily. She likes to tease Takumi just for fun but in reality she actually admires him.
