One of the five moonbeam wisemen, despite his frivolous personality. The son of the Minister of the Right. He's used to dealing with women and is famous around the imperial court for being a womanizer. He's courting many other noble women, than the Hikaru no Miya.

One of the five moonbeam wisemen. He's familiar with sorcery and can freely control vengeful spirits. He likes to see people's faces warped with pain. His personality and actions are impossible to understand.

A childhood friend of the Hikaru no Miya. The brilliant court onmyouji. He can talk rudely, but he's good at talking care of people. A strange person who is friends with spirits in various places.

The self-named cute leader of the five moonbeam wisemen. He's from the house of the Minister of the Left and a relative of Aoi. He likes teasing people. It's easy for him to be possessed by things not of this world.

A perfect noble. He has many noble women in his sights. He's a relative of Murasaki.

The princess that the protagonist serves. A brilliant and beautiful woman. She's being courted by five noble men, but she won't stand for any bad conduct.

The protagonist's coworker. An adaptable girl with a small body but a strong personality. She's really bad at reciting classic poems.
