He has a free-spirited and unruly personality, earning him a reputation as a troublesome figure at school. However, he is simply honest with his feelings, which leads to him being ostracized and looked down upon by those around him. He is a lone wolf and doesn't mix with others, but he has taken a liking to the protagonist. Although he dotes on his sister in the library, she mostly ignores him. He is also very fond of the protagonist's younger sister, Kisaki, leading to rumors that he is an irredeemable siscon.
