Despite being the clan head of the Nagumo, which is a part of the Ten-Demon Alliance, Shuu himself claims no recollection of being 'under' said alliance. He joined hands with Senkimaru and Oboro Yachiyo upon meeting them, with the sole objective of killing Ishida Mitsunari, which he concluded he couldn't accomplish by himself. During the Battle of Sekigahara, he fights Kazutake or Shin, and loses. Some time later, Shuu— who had survived— visits the Yase village alongside Yachiyo at the invitation of the protagonist, who had just become the Yase-hime. However, after expressing his gratitude for the invitation, he vanished.
