He became famous for his seventeen-year overland journey to India, which is recorded in detail in the classic Chinese text Great Tang Records on the Western Regions. A Buddhist priest who punishes the evil and savors the joy of preaching. Accompanied by Goku, she travels around in order to save India, the country controlled by immorality. Many a time does she rush to a conclusion and discipline innocent citizens. When she first meets the main character, she decides to call him "Hakkai" and forces him to let her join the Zipang army.
