Note: You have have noticed that we have not labelled 'Maria†Holic' as a Yuri where other media listing sites might, our reasoning for this is as follows;

1. We do not wish to mislead people.
People may search specifically for 'Yuri' and decide to watch this only to be disappointed by the lack of true Yuri content

2. It's simply not Yuri
The anime is a parody of the Yuri genre, yes. However, simply having a Lesbian included in the main cast and parodying Yuri tropes does not constitute the anime itself being 'Yuri'. If we stretched the definition of 'Yuri' to include media in which a main character was a lesbian or where side characters entered into lesbian relationships, a large swath of non-yuri media would then be classed as 'Yuri' and Yuri fans would not be able to reliably search for Yuri on our platform. This logic also follows for Yaoi, Horror and many other genres. Reliable searching is our priority.

We are not claiming that our stance is absolutely correct. You may consider Maria†Holic (and other cases) to be Yuri, as is your right. This has been a widespread debate for many years, we simply fall on the 'It's not Yuri' side of that debate, perhaps that stance will change in a few years.
